These recordable dog buttons were tested and approved by the one and only Chip. We learned that he was a pretty smart puppy right from the jump, and wanted to give him a better way to communicate. The usage of these buttons, he’s been able voice what he wants & it’s been a ton of fun. In case you have success teaching a word with the buttons, please share as a review so more pets can let us know what they want.
How To Record A Sound
- First, flip over the button and slide the switch from play to record mode.
- Now hold down the button to begin recording, and release it to stop. You must record all your sound in one shot. If you release the button and press it again, it’s going to overwrite whatever else you have recorded.
Pro Tip: The mic is located on the bottom of the button to the left of the speaker. Face the mic toward you or whatever your source of sound is. For best results, hold the button about 6 inches away. If it doesn’t sound as good as you like, experiment by putting the mic closer or further from the sound.
- To hear what you’ve recorded, slide the switch back to play mode, and press the button. If you are satisfied, you’re done!
- Toggle the off mode if the buttons don’t seem to be in use by putting the switch in the middle position.
