Q: Who is BIXBI? A: BIXBI was created by James and Michael Crouch, two brothers living in Boulder, Colorado, who are passionate about pets and nutrition. BIXBI came from a desire to blend the Crouch brother’s interest in pet nutrition with tasty treats. Q: Why go through all the trouble of making USA made and USA sourced products for pets? A: Because pets are beloved members of our families. This should make us all as careful about what we put in our pets’ bowls as we are about we put in our own mouths.
Q: We know your treats are made in the USA, but where are they sourced? A: Everything BIXBI makes is sourced within the USA. There are a few reasons for this, many pet treat companies are making products in countries like China, where they have known supply chain issues (see FDA melamine recalls and FDA chicken jerky warnings) and lax labor laws, which BIXBI does not Enhance. The other reason is that, as a company, BIXBI’s carbon footprint is much smaller since they don’t need to ship their products from halfway across the world
